We want our right to speak and love and associate... not room service or spa access or first class tickets.
It is dehumanizing to use giving people luxuries and then using them to justify depriving them of their real actual human rights which they actually crave... Not caviar or champagne.
The whole "I gave you the moon... How dare you use your rights on me! How dare you question my violation of your rights when I gave you so many luxuries! How dare you not trust me to allow you your rights when I gave you the moon... And if you keep misbehaving by questioning me then I will take the moon away from you and of course not give you or allow you your rights... But now you'll have no privileges either so there will be no right for you to even feel short term or pretend that you have rights."
Ma'am. I never wanted the moon... I wanted my rights.
I want and need and therefore crave my rights... Not the moon.
Take back your moon. And, more importantly... give/allow me my rights.
