It is the attitude they have with us that is ass backwards... Not us being ass backwards in any kind of general way or even in what we are doing at all concerning the point of things.
It is their attitude towards us... Not ours towards anything... That sees the idea of working for a point as the entire point and aim, rather than the point as the thing we need to work towards and use as our method for doing so. They try and forcibly mold the point to fit their work and actions rather than letting their work and actions naturally fit the point. They are the ones that see helping or defending people as mainly a career for themselves, who try to have standards for the sake of having rules and standards rather than because the standards make sense AKA help anyone... and who once they are finished their job, they feel empty and don't know what to do with all this time to think about the point of it all or about what to therefore do next, because being involved in that job or whatever was their whole identity.
For as long as they have this attitude, they will look down on us, because they see us as not understanding or admitting the point. Because they think the point is safety or popularity or showing off their skill or assuaging their guilt and shame, or just of general punishment or "deserved" torture for everyone "because we're sinners."
