The only pure, harmless thing is knowing that everyone is (and thus treating everyone, starting with one's closest soul family, as) equally, unnegotiably, unconditionally sentient.
All other political actions and omissions and statements and held-back statements and pulled-back/taken-back/redacted statements-- everything else we try to do to help-- has some victims somewhere, often hidden ones. That's why politics is so controversial.
The tragedy is that we all always knew that the nonsense needed to stop before it ever even started millennia ago... that we need to stop this yesterday... that we often even know we did and do... but that we don't know how.
Because we can't agree on how to end the nonsense. Because we can't agree on what the nonsense is or was in the first place. We each only have a small portion of the solution, because we each were only exposed to a small portion of the problem. And often those portions clash with each other. Which makes us clash with each other. Which causes MORE nonsense to happen.
Because all of our respective situations, often very different situations from each other's, were not environments that were conducive to us knowing, learning, or remembering the point... so we end up seeing it as mere commentary and our own mere commentary as the point of it all.
Everyone's story matters equally. But yes, each story matters the most to those who personally relate to it... and that's how it should be, so that we find our soul families, who are the real family we need to seek at the end of the day... for we experience what we do from being treated certain ways due to being discriminated against in certain ways due to being whoever we are... which includes past experiences... all the result of the trajectory each one of us (in no particular order) chose to be predestined to choose, and was predestined to choose to be predestined to. From those issues, we create hiding places for those with those issues to gather and validate and empathize with and understand and desire and support and appreciate and love and respect and defend and help and be in solidarity with each other. And members of the same soul family always eventually find each other, because they look for each other-- consciously or otherwise-- in the same hiding places. Makes sense, doesn't it? "If they think like me, then they think like me, which means they'll look for me in the same places I'm looking for them in."
Your combination of issues and your way of relating to and expressing and acting on it all is the same as that of your soul family. Those are the people you want to be with when everything falls apart.
