Even before I met Teddy I would have chosen a man that cries any day over a man that hates.
I chose a man that cries. I'm proud of my man that cries. If I had a man that hates then I'd be miserable. Oppressed and dehumanized. Some haters cry but also... Many that cry don't hate. Many men that cry, including Teddy, do have feelings of indignation and the motivation and right reasons and skill to stand up for their loved ones and for everyone's rights. Crying has absolutely NOTHING to do with not knowing it's with it to stand up for people, or being able or willing or equipped to do that.Crying sometimes might even be a prerequisite to that. It doesn't mean anyone should be forced to cry or that depression or shame or guilt or negativity or fear is involved. It just means love is involved. Some people who don't cry are just as loving outwardly, provided they don't have hateful AKA dehumanizing attitudes towards anyone.
